Restorative Dentistry in Jounieh and Tripoli

A missing tooth is not only a gap. The teeth beside it drift, the one above it drops, and the bite changes shape around the hole.

Replacing what is missing

An implant is a titanium root placed into the jawbone, left to integrate, and then fitted with a crown. It is the only replacement that loads the bone the way a natural tooth does, which is why it keeps the jaw from shrinking where the tooth was lost.

Bridges and dentures remain the right answer in plenty of cases — where bone volume is limited, where several teeth are missing in a row, or where cost and timeline matter. We plan around your situation rather than defaulting to the most expensive option.

Saving what is still there

Before replacing a tooth we work out whether it can be kept. A deep cavity, a fracture, or a failed old filling often looks terminal and is not. Root canal treatment, a well-designed crown, or rebuilding the core of the tooth can buy decades.

Teeth that are genuinely beyond saving get removed cleanly, with the site prepared for whatever replaces it.

Restorations built to fit

A crown or filling that does not fit precisely at the margin traps bacteria, and the tooth decays underneath a restoration that looks perfect. Fit is the part of this work that decides how long it lasts.

We take the time at the margins, check the bite under load, and bring you back to confirm the result has settled.

Questions about restorative

Are dental implants permanent?

The implant itself can last a lifetime with good hygiene and regular check-ups. The crown on top is a wearing part and may need replacing after 10 to 15 years.

Is restorative work painful?

The procedures themselves are done under local anaesthetic and are not painful. Some tenderness for a few days afterwards is normal, particularly after implant surgery or an extraction.

How long does an implant take from start to finish?

Usually three to six months. The implant needs time to fuse with the bone before the final crown is fitted. You are not left with a visible gap during that period.

What if I have lost bone where the tooth was?

Bone grafting can rebuild enough volume to place an implant. We assess this from a 3D scan before recommending a plan, so there are no surprises mid-treatment.

Can a badly broken tooth still be saved?

Often, yes. If enough healthy tooth structure remains above the bone, a root canal and crown can keep it. We will tell you clearly when the odds are poor.
